Our site uses an online prequalification form for visitors to request information, products, and services. We collect visitor's contact information (like their email address), unique identifiers (like their social security number), and financial information (like employment and income information). Contact information from the prequalification form is used to send information to a credit reporting company (with the visitor's authorization) to complete the prequalification screening procedure. The visitor's contact information is also used to get in touch with the visitor when gathering additional information, when clarifying information, and when providing a response to the visitor's request. Financial information that is collected is used to check the visitor's qualifications. Unique identifiers (such as social security numbers) are collected from Web site visitors to verify the visitor's identity and to complete the credit report process (with your authorization).
If a credit report is completed the information provided by the visitor is supplemented by the information received from the credit reporting company. Information gathered from the visitor or credit reporting company will not be shared with a third party without the visitor's explicit consent or unless the visitor is referred to us by a third party.
When a visitor submits an online prequalification form, the visitor's IP address and Internet host name are recorded with the visitor's information. This extra data is used to help confirm the identity of the user.
Once your online prequalification has been reviewed you may choose to apply for approval. When you apply we may ask for additional information via E-mail, telephone, or with a face to face interview to complete the residential loan application. Loan program disclosures will be forwarded to you within 3 business days upon receipt of a completed loan application. One such disclosure includes your "right to financial privacy". Our online surveys ask visitors for contact information (like their e-mail address). We use contact data from our surveys to send the visitor promotional material. The visitor's contact information is also used when contacting the visitor upon request, when gathering additional information, when clarifying information, and when providing a response to the visitor's request. Visitors have an opportunity to opt-out of receiving promotional materials at the time they take the survey by checking the opt-out box provided on the survey form.
